Plagiarism Policy
Manuscripts submitted to DANESIA: International Journal of Social Sciences and Economics will be screened for plagiarism using the Turnitin plagiarism detection system. If a manuscript is identified as containing plagiarism, it will be rejected and will not proceed to the review process.
The following actions are enforced by the Editorial Board:
-
Similarity index above 40%:
In this case, the manuscript is rejected due to poor paraphrasing or improper citation, resulting in immediate rejection. Only one revision is allowed; if the similarity index remains above 35%, the manuscript will be rejected and resubmission is not permitted. -
Similarity index between 25% and 40%:
In this case, the manuscript is returned to the authors for correction and improvement. Authors are required to provide proper citations in the relevant sections and apply appropriate paraphrasing for the referenced material. -
Similarity index below 25%:
Minor revisions or citation improvements may still be required. All paraphrased or quoted text must be properly cited.
In the second and third cases, authors are required to carefully revise their manuscripts by adding appropriate citations and improving paraphrasing. At the time of resubmission, a Turnitin report must be provided showing NO PLAGIARISM or a similarity index of less than 25%.
